Dharwad
Dharwad sits at the cusp of two distinct geographical divisions-Malenaadu- forest land with red soil and belavalanadu - deccan plains with black soil. Dahrwad cultivates a variety of food products. It grows soya, sugar cane, paddy jowar, wheat, green gram, Bengal gram. Dharwad also produces Alphonso mangoes and Navalur guavas.
